Cold Run warm Oatmeal

hello as well as happy Wednesday! Last night I packed up my running gear to take with me to boot camp. When it was over I strapped on my Garmin as well as explored the area for 5 miles.

The boot camp is at a institution in a near-by city. It’s all new house advancement as well as buying centers. whatever looks precisely the same, so it was confusing, however I made it back.

It has been warm all week as well as then this morning it was COLD! I was freezing for most of my run as well as rushed house for a warm breakfast. I decided to make hot oats to warm me up from the inside.

In the mix: Coach’s oats, water, salt, pumpkin, chia seeds, stevia, greek yogurt as well as pumpkin pie spice.

I likewise got a shipment of Somersaults yesterday! since I don’t have any type of “real” granola I utilized these at a topping – delicious! I like the light sweetness as well as structure of this Cinnamon crunch flavor.

I likewise added dried apples, PB as well as pumpkin butter on top. Don’t stop up until you add some top. ings!

Unfortunately, every.single.time I have oats with PB  it makes me nauseous. It kinda always has (I keep in mind the very first time I ate this combo at my college part time job! My office mate as well as I discussed it in length – Hi Yvette!). perhaps that’s why I state I don’t like oats anymore? (Maybe I’m more self conscious now as well as would rather not offer with it?) Anyways, eggs will be back tomorrow. I’m sorry I ditched them.

Helllloooooo! I was running late to boot camp this morning and forgot my water bottle and fuel to run. I planned on doing my long run today so I would be recovered by Sunday. Fail.

But, don’t focus on my failure, focus on me making a fool of myself…

When I went home to grab my stuff it was still so cold outside I decided to stall for a bit (or maybe I frozen in place). I ate a cinnamon roll with cranberry orange spread and hot coffee while waiting

These are from TJ’s, but Zen bakery makes the same kind and is available WF and other health food stores.

Then, I finally set out for a 6 miler. I’m going to pack my stuff tonight so I can drive straight to my long run location tomorrow after camp!

When I got back I wanted EGGS! I made 2 eggs with 2 pieces of toast. odd that there’s only one in this picture…

I really delight in your blog. You have such an upbeat personality and zest it seems for life. I also think you have a healthy view towards food, body, and life in general. I am striving for that as a goal. I know you state on your blog about weight issues though to me you look terrific but anyhow I was wondering if you ever felt or did go to extremes to maintain a size that was not implied for you? Not necessarily an ED but trying to control your body to a size it was not meant?  also what helps you not to compare to women who are very thin?   another question I have is I see how much you love to run and you do it a lot. In one blog post you were mentioning how you were in a funk and first thing that concerned mind was maybe too much activity. have you or do you think now even you struggle with compulsive or over exercise? I don’t imply to offend you I was just wondering cause you seem so active and I don’t know what the line is where it becomes unhealthy. lastly do you objective for certain amount of calories a day? You don’t seem to post that though talked about intuitive eating and does it change when do much more activity? I do really delight in your blog. Don’t feel you have to answer anything you don’t want.
